Las Calaveras by Crowned Heads
Las Calaveras celebrates life and remembrance rather than a mournful symbol of sadness and death. The 2024 release is the 10th year that the cigar has been made. For this year's blend, Crowned Heads released an all-Nicaraguan cigar. Produced by My Father Cigars, the Las Calaveras 2024 uses a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper that covers Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The result is a blend that CH co-founder Jon Huber claims is similar to the original release in 2015.
Wrapper: Nicaraguan | Binder: Nicaraguan | Filler: Nicaraguan | Strength: Full Bodied
The 2023 edition is once again rolled at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. To change things up, a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper was used for the 2023 edition. This gives the cigar a slight sweetness to a more full-bodied blend. The production run for 2023 is limited to 1500 boxes of each size in 24-count boxes.
