La Vereda by Crowned Heads
In the summer of 2011, Jon Huber of Crowned Heads was at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo factory and heard the song "De Camino a La Vereda," a song that became a lasting memory. The song's advice about staying true to one's path and seeing beyond appearances resonated deeply. This resulted in the creation of the "La Vereda" cigar, a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos with a unique Nicaraguan wrapper. The flavor profile is almost as though the blend was mixed in stereo; the left speaker plays notes of sweet and cream, while the right speaker yields notes of spice and earth, with a savory melody being played underneath it all. This project symbolizes their dedication to craftsmanship and staying authentic in the face of challenges.
