La Gloria Cubana Criollo de Oro
As what could be best described as a mad scientist experiment, La Gloria Cuban has crossbred Criollo '98 with the rare Pelo de Oro tobacco and created the Criollo de Oro cigar. This seed was then grown in a perfectly suitable environment in the Dominican Republic. The wrapper covers a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a mix of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The result is a cigar that gives a lot of flavor without being overpowering with notes of earth, cedar, and a hint of spice.
