IPCPR 2015 Recap: Rocky Patel
Next up we headed over to the Rocky Patel booth. Every hour or so a jam session broke out featuring Latin rhythms from bongos and drum boxes that also doubled as humidors and ashtray stands. But it was some great new cigars that caught our attention!
Cigar smokers can expect three new releases from Rocky Patel this year. The 20th Anniversary is the next installment celebrating another 5 year milestone following up the Decade and 15th Anniversary. The Rocky Patel Sungrown Maduro is a bump up in strength from the regular Rocky Patel Sungrown line and features a dark Broadleaf wrapper. And finally, Rocky Patel has enlisted legendry cuban roller Hamlet Paredes who has blended his first non-Cuban cigar with Tabaquero, which is scheduled to be released in September.
