2010 Montecristo Golf Classic is a Huge Success!
Emerson’s Cigars would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s 3rd Annual Montecristo Golf Tournament. The weather was amazing, the food was delicious, and the company was, of course, fantastic. We hope the golf gods were generous and everyone left with a few good shots under their belt. But no matter what, we were treated to some incredible smokes and the best part is, it all goes towards helping a superb cause: the Montecristo Relief Organization.
As many of you know, the Montecristo Relief Organization was created in 1993 to provide help to regions of the world that endured a natural disaster. Recently, after the earthquake in Haiti, the organization immediately donated $25,000. Later, they were able to give an astounding $125,000 in donations. And as they have the past two years, the proceeds from the 3rd Annual Montecristo Golf Tournament will also be donated.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the efforts of Altadis USA, the world’s largest cigar maker and provider of all the great cigars we enjoyed on the course including Montecristo, Romeo and Julieta, Siglo, A. Turrent Triple Play, and more. We’d like to give special thanks to Brad Winstead, Jill Meyers, and Gene Tipton, our hard-working representatives from Altadis who helped make this event possible.
